Last chance for KTW-BWGL certification

From 2027 onwards, the existing national regulations governing materials that come into contact with drinking water will be superseded by an EU-wide regulation. For products that have a valid national certificate of conformity (e.g. in accordance with KTW-BWGL) on 31 December 2026, a transition period applies until (at the latest) 31 December 2032. However, this validity applies only within the previous scope of application and not across the EU. As product testing and the certification process each take several months, the launch of new projects under national guidelines is expected to come to an end soon.
